Juveniles scatter as truck window shatters in Niagara Falls

A group of about 15 juveniles scattered in every direction Saturday night after a window in a passing pickup truck was shattered with an unknown object, Niagara Falls Police said.

The truck driver told police the incident happened as he was westbound in the 4300 block of Pine Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. As he passed the Packard Court housing complex, something broke a window in the cab of his truck and he immediately turned in the direction of a group of juveniles gathered nearby. They all ran away.

Police said that about $1,000 in damage was done to the truck. No injuries were reported.
