Gunfire victim critical after Alamo Place shooting

Buffalo Police reported that they are investigating into a shooting of a man in South Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

South District officers were called to the scene of the incident in the first block of Alamo Place at around 3:20 p.m.

The man who was struck by gunfire was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he is in critical condition, police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said. Police have not released any further information about the shooting.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call or text the department's confidential tip line at 847-2255.
