An armed robbery was reported Friday at New City Market on Buffalo’s East Side, according to city police.
At about 4 p.m., two men entered the East Ferry Street convenience store, one armed with a handgun, and threatened customers there, a Buffalo Police report noted.
One of the suspects ran into a back room and stole $3,000, police said. The robbers then fled west on East Ferry Street. No injuries were noted in the police report.
The man holding a gun was wearing black Adidas sweatpants, a black Nike hoodie and black sneakers, police said. The other suspect was wearing a black shirt with neon patches, a gold and black hat, patchy jeans and black sneakers.
