Two Catholic churches in Buffalo have been vandalized over the past eight days, according to police reports.
Someone etched profanity into a door at St. Teresa Church on Seneca Street in South Buffalo sometime between early Tuesday morning and 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Something similar happened at about 9:30 a.m. July 11 at All Saints Church on Chadduck Avenue in Riverside, according to another report. Words were etched into a glass door and a rock was thrown at the door, police said. The suspects also did "doughnuts" in the parking lot, damaging the black top.
Neither police report included the words etched by the vandals.
Police have not said whether they believe the incidents are related. They ask anyone who may have information about the incidents to call or text the department's confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
