A downtown Niagara Falls motel was robbed Wednesday night, according to a police report.
A man demanded money from the cash register at the front desk at the Red Maple Inn, 200 Rainbow Blvd., at about 10:15 p.m.. The robber pulled his shirt over his mouth and held his hand inside his hooded sweatshirt, but did not display a weapon or threaten to use one, according to the police report.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber, who arrived at the motel on a bicycle, was wearing a black hat, gray sweatshirt, dark gray sweatpants and red sneakers, according to the report.
