PASTORE, Philip P., Jr.

PASTORE - Philip P., Jr. 93, of Batavia, the owner of the Pok-A-Dot Restaurant and the original owner of Sunny's Restaurant passed away on July 17, 2018, with his wife and children by his bedside. He was the son of the late Philip P. Pastore Sr. and Georgia (Frongetta) Pastore; son-in-law of Leo and Mary Azzi. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Leona (Azzi) Pastore; six children, Michael (Nancy) Pastore, Paulette Pontillo, Georgeann (David) Hartman, Phyllis (Timothy) Beers Sr., Patricia Olverd, and Vincent (Kayleen) Pastore; Aunt Lena Pastore; sisters-in-law Matilda Syracuse and Virginia Bass; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Delilah Rae Graham. All are invited to call on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main St., Batavia, NY 14020. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 23rd at Ascension Parish, 19 Sumner St. in Batavia. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
