Horizons Tour of Homes 2018 is bigger, features more homes

The 2018 version of the Horizons Tour of Homes promises to be the biggest and best yet, as the show has expanded to highlight several communities throughout Western New York.

This year promises to “wow” attendees with the largest show in decades featuring homes from Western New York’s finest home builders.Embracing the tradition of presenting fully decorated and landscaped “dream homes,” this year’s show also incorporates 21st technology enhancing the customer experience. Attendees will be able to geo-locate each home, learn about design and decorating features and instantly connect via social media with builders, contractors and suppliers.

Featuring everything from stately homes and homes for first-time buyers to condo-status homes for couples downsizing, the 2018 Horizons Tour of Homes will highlight Western New York’s most sought after communities.

The show runs July 19-22 and July 26-29.

Hours for both weekends are Thursday and Friday, 3 to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $9 and can be purchased at, via the ParadeCraze app or at any of the homes.

A ticket is good for both weekends for unlimited entrance to all the homes, so if you see something you like, you can go back and see it again.

Tour homes from the Town of Lockport down through the Town of Eden. The tour is a great way to see new homes and the communities local builders invest in. Participating builders include: Alliance Homes, Bielmeier Builders, Brownstone Homes, David Homes, Designer Homes, Essex Homes, IQ Modular, Jurek Builders, Marrano Marc Equity, MJ Peterson/Tucker Homes, Natale Builders, Regency Builders and Sunset Builders.

Here is a brief overview of homes by builders in WNY:

The Town of Amherst:

Marrano ( will show 13 Brockton Ridge, a patio home in the exclusive Greythorne community; 260 Northill Drive, a patio home in the Windstone Community (main photo) and 50 Boxleder Lane a four bedroom home in the Evergreen Landing community.

Regency Builders ( will show its new Westchester model at 125 Penny Lane in Lake Forest North, a home with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

Bielmeier Builders ( shows “The Rachael,” a ranch home at 4582 Gentwood Drive.

In East Amherst:
Natale Builders ( will show 131 Nicole Court, its “Messina” ranch style patio home.

Natale Builders shows two homes, this one is at 5543 Cooper Ridge in Hamburg.

In Clarence/Clarence Center:
Essex Homes ( will show 9072 Bancroft, its “Eastbrook” model, a luxury patio home at the exclusive Essex Greens at Waterford.

Designer Homes (, shows two patio homes at 5389 Alderbrook Lane (The Hawthorn) and 5391 Alderbrook Lane (The Hemingway). Both have two full bedrooms and two full baths.

MJ Peterson/Tucker Homes ( shows “The Worthington II” at 5111 Anfield Road, a new ranch plan by the builder with an oversized kitchen.

Marrano’s home in Clarence (5414 Briannas Nook) is particularly unique as it’s a brand new design built specifically for the Tour and the Roswell Park Cancer Institute ‘Raising the Roof’ campaign.

Natale Builders ( custom ranch, “The Cooper” at 5395 Briannas Nook has three bedrooms and two baths.

Jurek Builders ( will show its “Tuscan Villa IV” model at 9704 Foxglove Court.

Grand Island and Lockport:
On Grand Island, David Homes ( will show 42 Eagleview Drive, “The Audubon,” a popular ranch plan.
In Lockport, IQ Modular ( will feature two model homes at 5803 Robinson Rd. (The Bronte) and 5809 Robinson Rd. (The Joyce). Both are ranch-style homes.

Essex Homes will show two homes. This one is at 53 Knoche Way in Orchard Park.

The Town of Orchard Park:
Essex Homes will feature its spectacular new model at 52 Knoche Way in the Knoche Farm Estates. The two-story “Easton” model is part of the builder’s premier series (cover picture and below).

In Lancaster:
David Homes will show 53 Tranquility Trail, the “Greenbrier” model with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths located in Lancaster’s Cross Creek Estates, a well-established Lancaster community.

Brownstone Homes ( will show a house at 12 Blackstone Court in Lancaster. The builder also has a home at 9746 Garden Walk, Clarence.

In Hamburg and Eden:
Natale Builders will show 5543 Cooper Ridge, the “Bari” design in the Pleasant Creek community. Lots here feature woods or pond views. The home is designed for a variety of owners, especially empty nesters looking to downsize into an easy-to-care-for home.

South of Hamburg, Sunset Builders of WNY ( will show 8370 Evelyn Drive in the Evergreen Acres development in Eden. Homes here have generous lot sizes.
