Fine-dining newcomer Greystone closed on Delaware Avenue

Greystone, the fine-dining restaurant that succeeded Snooty Fox on Delaware Avenue, has closed.

The nightspot, at 445 Delaware Ave., opened in September.

As it opened, Chef Kevin O'Connell Jr., son of retiring WGRZ chief weathercaster Kevin O'Connell, described the restaurant as his "last hurrah" in a restaurant career spanning decades.

While the restaurant started out with a chef's tasting menu, it was advertising karaoke nights on its Facebook page before it closed.
