Forward Tyler Randell, who spent part of the 2015-16 season with the Boston Bruins, signed a one-year contract with the Sabres' affiliate, the Rochester Americans of the AHL.
Randell had six goals and 47 penalty minutes in27 games with the Bruins that season, his only NHL action. He has primarily played in the AHL the last six seasons. In 2017-1, he had three goals and five assists and 94 penalty minutes in 57 games with the Belleville (Ont.) Senators of the AHL.
