A Wyoming County man previously convicted of drunk driving is facing felony charges after being stopped for speeding in the Town of Gainesville, the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office said.
Steven P. Grisewood, 44, was arrested at about 3:15 p.m. Friday by a deputy who clocked Grisewood's vehicle traveling on Wethersfield Road at 84 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Grisewood was administered a field sobriety test, after which he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Sheriff’s Office for a breathalyzer test.
Grisewood was charged with speeding, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, felony driving while intoxicated, felony driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 and felony aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of .18 or greater, the Sheriff's Office said.
He is required to return Monday to Gainesville Town Court.
