Two Buffalo women were charged Sunday night with an attack on Bailey Avenue in which the victim was hit in the head with a golf club.
Zuheillie Alicea, 24, was charged with felony assault after police came upon a fight in the middle of the street on Bailey, near Doat Street, at about 9:50 p.m. The attackers were punching and kicking the victim and pulling her hair, according to a Buffalo police report.
A 36-year-old woman told Buffalo police Alicea struck her in the head with the golf club. The victim was treated at the scene and then transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, according to the report.
Alicea also was charged with child endangerment, accused of leaving her son unattended in a nearby vehicle. She also was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Lourdis Ortiz, 25, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and child endangerment, according to the report.
