A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to a charge of animal cruelty after seven dogs and one puppy with scars consistent with dog fighting were seized from his home.
Joshua Mack, 35, of Roma Avenue, pleaded guilty to fa.
A search warrant was executed at Mack's home March 22. Authorities removed the dogs and dog-fighting paraphernalia from the property. The dogs were taken to the SPCA Serving Erie County, where they were treated, and three have been adopted, according to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn.
Mack faces a maximum of four years in prison. State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek is scheduled to sentence him Sept. 21.
