Walsh scores twice, add two assists in FC Buffalo win

Hunter Walsh starting in place of Austin Stout, who was out with illness, scored twice in the first half in FC Buffalo’s 5-1 victory at the last place Greater Binghamton Football Club Thunder on Saturday at Visions Field in Binghamton. FC Buffalo closed its National Premier League season with a 6-4-2 record but missed the East Conference Division playoffs.

Walsh also assisted on two other FC Buffalo goals.

Kendell McFayden also scored twice for Buffalo, once in the first half and once in the 53rd minute shortly after the lone Binghamton goal. Brett Stern’s goal on a through ball by McFayden in the 81st minute closed the scoring.

FC Buffalo will play an international friendly against North Mississauga Soccer Club at 7:30 p.m Tuesday night at the Sweet Home High School stadium. It’s Fan Appreciation Night.
