Fairies and elves will fill the Burchfield Nature and Art Center during the annual Enchanted Forest on July 15.
There will be activities to spark the imagination and draw attention to the wonders of nature. A construction area will provide materials for elf, gnome and fairy homes to be built along pathways in the park. Bubbles and fairy dust will add to the enchantment of the grounds.
All are invited to come dressed as fairies, elves, gnomes, wizards, other fun characters or as themselves for the free family event from 1 to 4 p.m. in the park, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca.
A fairy princess will help children make butterfly wishes to hang in the trees and a fairy godmother will read stories.
In case of inclement weather, the Enchanted Forest will take place July 22.
