Guard Antwain Johnson is transferring from Middle Tennessee State to the University at Buffalo, the News confirmed.
The transfer was initially reported by CBS Sports.
Johnson, who is listed at 6-2 and 194 pounds, averaged 10.3 points per game last season and shot 44.2 percent from the field. He played his way into the starting lineup late in January and averaged 12.5 points and 2.3 assists and shot 50 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from three for the rest of the season.
Johnson spent two years at Middle Tennessee State after a year at Chipola College in his home state of Florida. He will need to sit out a year at UB and will be eligible for the 2019-2020 season.
