Bills fans will be able to pick Lloyd Taco as their game-time meal this season at New Era Field.
The Buffalo-born Mexican-inspired eats operation will be feeding fans this season, from about 10 stadium sites. In addition to preseason and regular season home games, Lloyd will be served at a concert and a special event of some sort, said Lloyd co-founder Peter Cimino.
Lloyd burritos and nachos will be available in the 100- and 300-level concourses, in spots that formerly served Delaware North's Mexican-styled offerings. Lloyd is also coming to the Pepsi and Toyota club seat areas, formerly the Jim Kelly and Van Miller sections.
Old-school burritos, in grilled chicken, tomatillo pork, braised beef and stewed black beans, will be available pre-rolled, with rice and mild sauce, Cimino said. Bottles of Rocket Sauce will be on hand for boosting chile heat levels.
Those four proteins will also be offered in Tricked-Out Nacho form, meaning atop tortilla chips with Lloyd queso, rojo and crema sauces, pickled red onions, cilantro and sliced jalapenos. Nachos with queso and roja sauce will be available as well.
Suite orders are contemplated as well. Cimino said suite menu details aren't final yet.
The food will be prepared by Delaware North employees trained and coached by Lloyd founders Cimino and Chris Dorsaneo. "We are working with the team at Delaware North to provide training to the Delaware North employees in the Lloyd way, and the Lloyd processes."
