Niagara Falls alumni directory is legit, district says

Requests for updated personal information being received by alumni of Niagara Falls public schools are legitimate, the Niagara Falls School District said in an announcement this week.

The Niagara Falls Education Foundation has contracted with PCI-Harris Connect to publish an updated alumni directory, and the postcards and phone calls connected with the project are on the level.

"Under no circumstances is there any obligation to purchase anything," the district's announcement said.

The Niagara Falls Education Foundation is an organization of alumni and volunteers that raises money for scholarships and student activities and opportunities, district spokeswoman Judie Glaser said.
