Another bank is making a big contribution to the National Comedy Center, which is preparing to open in Jamestown.
M&T Bank's $200,000 donation establishes the Buffalo-based bank as the sponsor of the center's Stand-Up Lounge and Late Night exhibits.
"Once the center is open, it will attract audiences from all over the world and is one giant step toward a stronger, more vibrant downtown Jamestown," said Shelley Drake, M&T's Buffalo regional president.
KeyBank on Wednesday announced a $250,000 donation to the center. The $50 million center is set to open Aug. 1.
