Shooter Jennings to perform at the new Rec Room

Shooter Jennings will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Rec Room (79 W. Chippewa).

The rocking country singer, son of outlaw country icon Waylon Jennings, will be in town to support his forthcoming album "Shooter."

Said to be "the most country album I've ever done," by the musician in a previous quote, the record will follow up his 2016 left-field release "Countach," a tribute album of sorts to influential Italian electronic producer Giorgio Moroder.

Jennings' show will mark as one of the first performances in the new Rec Room space. The Chippewa music venue was formally known as the Lodge until it closed up shop last summer.
