Dahlin heads Sabres development camp roster jammed with top prospects

The roster is out for the Buffalo Sabres development camp this week in HarborCenter and, as expected, it's a star-studded list.

All seven players drafted in the first or second round over the last three years will attend the camp. That group is headlined by No. 1 overall pick Rasmus Dahlin, who officially joined the organization Friday night in Dallas.

Joining Dahlin in attending his first development camp is fellow defenseman and second-round pick Mattias Samuelsson. The first- and second-rounders also include centers Casey Mittelstadt and Marcus Davidsson and goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (2017), as well as winger Alex Nylander and center Rasmus Asplund (2016).

Defensemen Brendan Guhle, the team's second-rounder in 2015, and Lawrence Pilut, recently signed out of the Swedish Hockey League, are also scheduled to attend.

Players will be on the ice Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 and 4-5, Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon, Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m and 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. All sessions are open to the public, and attendance is limited to capacity

The team's annual 3-on-3 French Connection tournament is at 10:45 a.m. Saturday. It is a ticketed event open only to 2018-19 season ticket holders.
