Shots fired early Sunday outside ‘large’ party in Polish Cadets hall

An unknown person shot a gun several times in the parking lot of the Polish Cadets social club early Sunday morning while a large party of about 300 to 400 people was there, Buffalo police said.

Officers found five shell casings in a parking lot in front of the building at 927 Grant St., according to a police report. The shooting occurred at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

No injuries were noted in the police report.

The Polish Cadets was founded in 1899 and is a well-known meeting spot for the Black Rock community. Rooms there can be rented out for events and parties.
