A holdup man forced an employee into a cooler at about 8 a.m. Sunday in a NOCO Express gas station and Mighty Taco, 155 Bailey Ave., and fled with cash and cigarettes, Buffalo police said.
The employee told authorities that the man, who looked like he had a gun, said he would hurt her if she didn’t cooperate, and made her empty the store’s cash register drawers and give him money.
As the man left, he grabbed some cigarettes, the employee told police. The suspect left the employee’s phone there, according to the police report.
Two witnesses saw the man leaving the store, police said. He was described as 5-foot-8, wearing a grey hoodie, a blue and greenish bandanna and socks on his hands.
