Health aides point fingers at each other after Niagara Falls theft

A pair of home health care aides are pointing the finger at each other after a 66-year-old Niagara Falls man reported a theft from his home on Kies Court.

On Friday, the man discovered that $900 had been taken from his bank account. He later realized that a $900 gold necklace was missing from his home, as well. He suspected his nighttime health care aide, since he had asked her to do banking for him and she knew his PIN number.

He mentioned the thefts to his daytime aide from the Health Association of Niagara County, who promptly informed her supervisor. The supervisor told her that her nighttime counterpart already reported her suspicions of the daytime aide's involvement. Police continue to look into the matter.
