The Bills may lack star power at wide receiver, but they certainty have options. They have 13 wideouts on the 90-man roster.
How do the receivers rank? Jay Skurski took on that task in his weekly Bills mailbag and essentially broke them into three tiers:
Potential starters: Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, Jeremy Kerley.
Depth/special teamers: Andre Holmes, Ray-Ray McCloud, Rod Streater.
Roster hopefuls: Brandon Reilly, Austin Proehl, Kaelin Clay, Robert Foster, Malachi Dupre, Quan Bray, Cam Phillips.
Bills Position Preview: Vic Carucci also broke down the Bills' wide receivers Thursday in his series looking at each unit on the team. "Even if Benjamin were to remain in one piece for the entire season, it's hard to see the Bills getting a whole lot of impressive production at the position," he wrote.
Jim Kelly undergoes follow-up surgery in New York City: Jim Kelly's wife, Jill, posted on Instagram that Jim was having another procedure Thursday, calling it "another step forward in the healing process."
