Woman imprisoned for injuring two in Niagara Falls wreck

A driver who crashed her car into another last year in Niagara Falls, then backed over a curb and struck a woman waiting for a bus, was sentenced Tuesday to one to three years in state prison.

Karin T. Sebring, 42, of 22nd Street, Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty Nov. 20 before State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. to driving while impaired by cocaine and marijuana and two counts of second-degree vehicular assault.

About 10 a.m. May 25, 2017, she struck another motorist's car at a red light at Niagara Falls Boulevard and 66th Street, then backed up and pinned the woman waiting for a bus between a vehicle and a dumpster.

Police reports showed Sebring was in another crash earlier that morning, but was given no tickets and was given a ride home by police.
