Letters: Don’t consider Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Don’t consider Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

As the date draws near for the meeting between the U.S. and North Korea, I understand South Korea will not be invited to the “table.” The government tells us that it will be “in lock step” with the effort to obtain a final peace.

We’re to believe that these people – who are the most vulnerable if these two egomaniacs decide they can’t decide who gets what – don’t deserve a chance to decide their fate. I’m by no means a Rhodes Scholar but this doesn’t sound quite right. I would think all the parties should be involved. The president can claim all the credit he wants as long as the means justify the end result. But please take the Nobel Peace Prize off the table.
