Stop me if you've heard this one before, but Sean McDermott's Buffalo Bills are interested in a former Carolina Panthers player.
The Bills will bring in ex-Panthers wide receiver Russell Shepard on a free-agent visit later this week, Jay Skurski reported. The team has brought in a number of Panthers since McDermott was hired away from the organization, including Kelvin Benjamin, Mike Tolbert, Joe Webb, Leonard Johnson, Star Lotulelei and others.
Additionally, the Bills brought Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Ryan Russell in a free-agent visit.
Jerry Sullivan on sports betting: Sports gambling may be legal now, but trust me, Sully wrote – it's still addictive.
Robert Foster out to show all he needs is a chance: The Bills signed Foster as a priority free agent after he went undrafted. The wideout's stats don't jump off the page, Jay Skurski wrote, but his Combine numbers were impressive. He has a connection with Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from playing at Alabama, and all he's asking for is a chance.
Micah Hyde loves Buffalo: The Bills' Pro Bowl safety made an appearance Tuesday on NFL Network. "To make my way to Buffalo and be welcomed with open arms, I love this place," Hyde said. "They gave me the opportunity to shine and do what I love to do every single day."
Has 'Earning It' replaced 'The Process' as the Bills' mantra? We all know Sean McDermott loves him some Process. But does he have a new catchphrase?
