2 injured in Niagara Falls Boulevard motorcycle accident

Two people riding a motorcycle were injured in a crash Wednesday in the 6500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, according to Niagara Falls Police.

The accident occurred about 3:08 p.m. when a 54-year-old Niagara Falls man apparently swerved to avoid another vehicle and drove his motorcycle into the rear of a Jeep. A 48-year-old Niagara Falls woman, a passenger on the bike, was ejected and thrown into the rear of the Jeep.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. Both were listed in stable condition, police said.

The Niagara Falls Police Department's Crash Management Team was investigating.
