[BN] Blitz newsletter: Rookies report for first day of work at One Bills Drive

The Buffalo Bills begin rookie minicamp today. Coach Sean McDermott will address reporters at 11:20 a.m. before getting his first chance to work with quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the Bills' first-year players on the practice field.

[Everything you need to know about the Bills' eight draft choices]

Rookie signings: The Bills reached contract terms with half of their draft class on Thursday, fifth-round picks Siran Neal and Wyatt Teller, sixth-round selection Ray-Ray McCloud and seventh-rounder Austin Proehl.

Beating the odds: Cornerback Levi Wallace spent his first semester at the University of Alabama playing intramural flag football, so he won't be intimidated by trying to make the Bills' roster as an undrafted free agent.

Tryout invites: Here's a list of the other dozen tryout invitations, which includes Buffalo State defensive tackle and Bennett grad Khalil Sommerville.

Trent Murphy's insane home gym: The Bills' new pass rusher is still looking for a place to live in Buffalo — and a warehouse for his impressive array of weightlifting equipment.

Brandon Beane's first year on the job: Jay Skurski lists the general managers' top 10 moves since coming to work in Buffalo.

Listen: Jerry Sullivan on this week's “Tim Graham Show.
