The Niagara County Legislature is seeking applicants for a soon-to-be-vacant seat on the Niagara County Community College Board of Trustees.
Legislature Clerk Mary Jo Tamburlin said Richard L. Andres Jr. of North Tonawanda, a legislator who recently became chairman of the county Republican Committee, is leaving the NCCC board when his term expires June 30.
"We hope to get plenty of qualified candidates so we can select a new trustee who brings fresh ideas to the table," Legislature Chairman W. Keith McNall said.
The deadline to submit resumés and letters of interest is May 21. They should be mailed to Tamburlin at the Niagara County Courthouse, 175 Hawley St., Lockport, NY 14094. Applicants must be Niagara County residents, but NCCC employees are not eligible.
