Two Canadian men charged with crossing Rainbow Bridge with drugs

Two men were arrested in Niagara Falls on Sunday after border agents found crack cocaine, marijuana and a large amount of cash in their vehicle, according to a city police report.

The men were attempting to cross the border into the United States at around noon, and the drugs were found in bags behind the dashboard, according to the report. Authorities also found mannitol-caffeine powder and a digital scale in the vehicle.

Trevonn D. Morlese, 25, of Toronto, and Oheneba N. Burke, 29, of Chatenauguay, Quebec, were charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
