Man undergoing hospital treatment after apparent shooting on East Side

Buffalo Police were investigating an apparent shooting incident Monday afternoon on the East Side, which sent a man to Buffalo General Medical Center for treatment, a Buffalo Police spokesman said.

Buffalo Police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said the man's wounds were not life-threatening.

DeGeorge said the man, who was not identified, arrived at the hospital just before 2 p.m.

DeGeorge noted that detectives are investigating reports that the shooting may have occurred near Coit and William streets.
