A 24-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning following a disturbance on Pine Avenue that stemmed from her offer to pay for a car ride with sexual favors, Niagara Falls police said.
A motorist told police that he came across a woman crying in the road at around 3 a.m. Saturday. Concerned for her safety, he stopped and asked if he could help, and the woman asked for a ride to Hyde Park Boulevard and Pine Avenue. Upon arrival, she reportedly offered sexual favors to the driver in return for the ride.
When police were called, they said that Rhea L. Walker was so intoxicated that she thought she was at a non-existent intersection in downtown Buffalo. They said she began insulting officers and shouting obscenities, and kicked one officer twice in the shin.
The officer was not injured, but Walker, who gave no address, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment.
