Three charged in predawn burglary of house in Allegany County

Three Allegany County residents were charged with burglary after they allegedly stole cash from a 68-year-old homeowner in Angelica, according to state police.

Troopers say two people entered a house on West Main Street in the Village of Angelica shortly before 6:40 a.m. Saturday, while the victim was sleeping. The homeowner woke up to see the intruders taking money. State police didn't say how much was taken, but said the homeowner wasn't injured.

An investigation led to a suspect, Hanna L. Stuck, 35, of Scio, an acquaintance of the homeowner. Troopers say Stuck did not enter the home during the crime, but she was arrested along with Kelly A. Blair, 41, of Cuba, and Cory Eck, 35, of Wellsville. All are charged with second-degree burglary.

The three were arraigned in Friendship Town Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
