A special exhibit entitled “Ex-is-ten-sion” by local artist and medical student Sarah-Grace Carbrey is planned for 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday through May 8 at Project 308 Gallery, 308 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.
A $10 donation is appreciated, to benefit Zimbabwean Children, The Leprosy Mission of Kothara and CCC for the Deaf of Jamaica. In addition, a chance to meet the artist and enjoy wine and appetizers will be presented from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday, for a $5 donation.
The exhibit represents “an artistic critique on the common experience of man” and is a collective exercise of contemplative existentialism, according to the artist. It includes the works of other artists, medical students, doctors and patients. The exhibit celebrates the Jacobs School of Medicine Graduating Class of 2018, of which Carbrey is a member.
