Izaiah Brockington, who announced on Twitter on April 20 that he would be transferring from St. Bonaventure, used the social media platform to declare he's headed to Penn State.
The guard from Philadelphia averaged 11.6 minutes and 4.3 points a game his freshman season for the Bonnies. In high school, he became just the third 1,000-point scorer in Archbishop Ryan history scoring 1,242.
Brockington will sit out one season, per NCAA transfer rules, before he is eligible to play for the Nittany Lions.
Thank you to all the coaches and schools that reached out to me during this process, but I’ve decided to commit to Penn State University🔵⚪️. Thanks to God, my Family, my HS coach and the whole PSU staff for making me feel at home🙌🏾. #WeAre #B1G pic.twitter.com/tKW9LQqZfY
