Clarence beer garden plan wins town approval

The West Shore Brewing Co. wants to become a destination with a beer garden that includes fire pits, outdoor games and live music.

On Wednesday, the Clarence Town Board gave approval for the plan to go forward by granting a one-year conditional permit for outdoor dining.

Josh Dziomba, who runs the brewery at 10995 Main St., with his father, Greg, and his wife, Laura, said after the meeting on Wednesday that he still needs approval from the State Liquor Authority, but hopes the new beer garden could open by mid-May.
