Alton Brown admits that he might never be able to set foot in Buffalo again.
The Food Network star's sin?
It's about as bad as when Frank's RedHot tweeted, "Buffalo wings + Ranch = two peas in a pod."
In case you missed it, Brown said "If you want great Buffalo chicken wings, don't go to frickin' Buffalo" on a recent episode of First We Feast's "Hot Ones."
In response, Buffalo Twitter brought the heat:
.@altonbrown, we need to talk.
Before the collective outrage of #Buffalo storms your twitter feed like Thanos’ army upon Wakanda, can you tell us where you ate your chicken wings whilst in the Queen City?

@altonbrown You just ruined my childhood after hearing you say Buffalo Chicken Wings suck. 🙁

@altonbrown is it possible for anyone to bring up Buffalo in an interview and not trash the place? Asking for a friend.

Disappointing to hear such frickin' harsh words from you, NEVER trash our fine City and our WINGS! Join me in Buffalo for a personal tour of our Buffalo Wing Trail. Experience our great regional food. @altonbrown @WingFest @FoodNetwork @BuffaloNiagara @TheBuffaloNews

Those are some fighting words, @altonbrown. If there's one thing you don't do to Buffalo, it's insult the Bills or our wings. Clearly you've never stopped by Nine-Eleven Tavern or Doc Sullivan's - I welcome you to South Buffalo for a do-over. @firstwefeast https://t.co/Y5HJ2yBf6b
