Two Buffalo men were arrested early Saturday morning following gunfire in the city's Kensington neighborhood, according to a city police report.
Police called to a report of "shots fired" on Manhart Street near Olympic Avenue at about 2:20 a.m. found two shell casings in a driveway.
Officers at the scene heard two men inside a home "talking about firing a weapon," and police went inside and found a .45-caliber handgun in an upstairs closet, according to the report. The gun wasn't loaded, but there was a magazine next to it. Six children also were inside the home, according to the report.
Antonio M. Jemison, 32, of Kensington Avenue, and Justin L. Jones, 33, of Manhart Street, were each charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and child endangerment.
Both are due in Buffalo City Court on Thursday.
