SHARING STITCHES – Community service projects will be on the agenda as the Buffalo/Niagara Chapter of the American Sewing Guild meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 205 Longmeadow Road, Eggertsville.
Those attending should bring sewing machines and neutral colored thread, bobbins and scissors. Materials will be provided to make pillowcases and drawstring toiletry bags for people in need and to make polar fleece Teddy bears for first responders to give to young children in stressful situations.

INVENTIVE ERA – Music of Weimar from German composers between the World Wars will be featured when the Buffalo Chamber Players perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
