What to watch for Monday

1. Baseball - Clarence at Lancaster, 5 p.m.

Of the 40 games scheduled today, No. 1 large school Clarence visiting No. 2 Lancaster in ECIC I play stands out above the rest. The Red Devils received four first-place votes this week, while the Legends received three.

2. Softball - Williamsville East at Williamsville South, 4:45 p.m.

No. 4 large school Williamsville East heads to No. 5 Williamsville South in today's top softball matchup of the 36 games on the schedule. The Flames received one of 10 first-place votes this week.

Sidelines (April 23): Coaches softball and baseball polls along with news & notes

3. Boys lacrosse - Williamsville East at Hamburg, 7:30 p.m.

Perennial power Hamburg (4-2, 2-0) hosts Williamsville East (5-1, 0-1) in Class B action. Both teams are on three-game winning streaks.

4. Girls lacrosse - Hamburg at Orchard Park, 5 p.m.

Hamburg (4-2) visits undefeated Orchard Park (5-0) in a nonleague matchup.
