Local filmmakers casting for Santa Claus send-up, 'Klausferatu'

Buffalo filmmakers are looking for actors to play in their movie, "Klausferatu," which puts Santa on the naughty list.

They will hold an open casting call from noon to 3 p.m. May 5 in room F129 of the Dolce-Valvo Art Center during the Niagara County Community College Film Festival, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn.

"Klausferatu" is a horror comedy. Actors of all ages and talents are being sought to play supporting cast, Christmas carolers and extras. Those cast must be available to work throughout the summer, fall and winter in the greater Buffalo area. The film is written by Paul McGinnis and Bob Coldicott, directed by Chris Fire and produced by Bob Coldicott.

The NCCC Film Festival is free and open to the public, and runs from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 5.
