Cigarettes stolen in armed robbery of Riverside 7-Eleven

A gunman robbed a Riverside 7-Eleven early Friday morning, according to a Buffalo police report.

The robber hopped over the counter at the convenience store at Ontario and Skillen streets at 4:23 a.m. and pointed what appeared to be a black handgun at an employee's head, demanding money from the register.

The robber swiped more than 40 packs of cigarettes and fled north on Skillen, according to the report.
