At long last, Zara has opened at the Walden Galleria.
The Spanish fast-fashion retailer sells clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Until now, the closest store was located in Burlington, Ont. It's known for its trendy, affordable apparel.
The store had been expected to open over the winter but did not meet its target opening date. It fills 30,309 square feet on two levels near Dick's Sporting Goods in space formerly occupied by White House Black Market, Free People, Banana Republic and Aeropostale.
Zara is owned by the Inditex Group, which has 7,000 stores in nearly 100 markets. It was founded in Spain in 1975.
