Reward offered in shooting death of 19-year-old in Buffalo

A reward of up to $4,000 is being offered in the case of a 19-year-old Buffalo man killed last week on Littlefield Avenue near the Cheektowaga border.

Amir Q. Jemes was fatally shot at about 12:20 a.m. Friday in an apparent robbery, Buffalo police said.

Crime Stoppers Buffalo is offering the reward in exchange for information that leads to an arrest or indictment of the person or persons found responsible for Jemes' death. Crime Stoppers may be reached at 716-867-6161.

A service for Jemes is being held at noon today at First Calvary Baptist Church, 467 William St.
