Buffalo's two latest homicide victims identified

A 19-year-old man fatally shot last Friday and a 75-year-old man found fatally stabbed Tuesday morning have been identified by Buffalo police.

Amir Q. Jemes was killed in a shooting at about 12:20 a.m. Friday on Littlefield Avenue, near the Cheektowaga border, in what police said was an apparent robbery.

Thomas Ingram was found dead in an apartment building on Best Street, between Pershing Avenue and Timon Street, shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Ingram was found in a front hallway. He suffered multiple stab wounds to the face and head, according to a Buffalo police report.

Jemes and Ingram are Buffalo's sixth and seventh homicide victims of the year.

A service for Jemes will be held at noon Thursday at First Calvary Baptist Church, 467 William St.
