Like the rest of us, Jerry Sullivan isn't quite sure what to make of Richie Incognito's erratic tweets about his status with the Buffalo Bills:
"Yes, it keeps getting weirder with Richie. Late Friday, just three days after announcing that he was retiring from football for health reasons, Incognito tweeted that he would be in Buffalo on Monday for the Bills' offseason program. ... Presumably, he was joking. Ha ha. I'm sure the Bills are amused. It was bad enough when he embarrassed the organization after being accused of making comments about the "ethnicity" of the Jaguars' Yannick Ngakoue in the playoff game in January. Now he's jerking them around about his retirement."
Confusing matters even further on Saturday morning, Incognito directed a tweet toward the Bills asking to be released from his contract.

Jim Kelly released from hospital: The Hall of Fame quarterback is expected to remain in New York City for two weeks and then return to Buffalo. His wife, Jill, said he left the hospital with a "swollen smile and a cane in his hand."

Call to Courage Award: New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis' actions on and off the field over his six-year NFL career earned him the 17th Athletes in Action Call to Courage Award, handed out Saturday by Frank Reich, the former Bills quarterback and current Indianapolis head coach.
The kickoff is on its last legs: Speaking at the 17th annual Call to Courage breakfast Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, Bills great Steve Tasker said he thinks eliminating kickoffs "is not just on the horizon, it's around the corner," Mark Gaughan reports. Tasker will be part of a select group of special-teams experts the NFL is bringing together next month to discuss potential changes.
