The Wilson House Restaurant and Inn, 300 Lake St., Wilson, is celebrating its official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday.
The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the festivities.
The 1844 structure has been rehabilitated by new owners, Tim and Christopher White and Jon Pashong, along with numerous locals from the various trades intent on preserving its history. It was originally the home of Luther Wilson, eldest son of Wilson founder Reuben Wilson. The building then housed the Wilsonian Club in the 1920s and a restaurant after World War II.
The newly refurbished establishment will offer dining, banquet and overnight accommodations year round. Call 751-9888 <cq>for more information.
