43North has named entrepreneur Eric Reich as its new chairman, succeeding William Maggio.
Reich has served on the startup competition's board for the last three years, including as its vice chairman since 2016.
Reich is the co-founder of Campus Labs, which, under its original name, won the first Panasci entrepreneurship competition held by the University at Buffalo, in 2001.
The announcement of a new chairman comes as 43North launches the application period for the competition's fifth year. Applications will be accepted through May 31.
