The Tonawanda City School District is conducting a search for two elementary school principals.
The School Board this week announced the retirement of Mullen Elementary School Principal Larry Badgley, who will leave the district at the end of August after a 23-year career as an administrator in the district. He previously served as dean of students and athletic director.
In addition, the district is also searching for a principal for Fletcher Elementary School. That position has been vacant since November when John McKenna moved to another district. Oldenburg said a retired administrator from outside the district, Barbara Partell, has held the position on an interim basis, but she also will leave in August.
